My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer about a month ago. It's not too bad though, and he will be having surgery this month. I also found out this afternoon that his other sister passed away this morning. He, and all of our family, need your prayers! Thank you!

My sister in law says that Claire looks like a little seniorita when she wears this dress. I think she's just too cute. She is obsessed with picking flowers. So, yesterday we walked down to the park and stopped about 20 times to pick flowers.

So, I came over, and this is what I saw! I had to take the photo really quick because everytime she is doing something like this, as soon as I get the camera ready, she moves! My dad is 60 today!! He is such a good dad. Last month he drove me up to Bella Vista, Arkansas for a wedding that I was shooting. He didn't want me to go up there alone. He is always doing that kind of thing!!

... are always stressful... either it's trying to make it by each and every house to stay for a while and visit... or... it's trying to carry on without loved ones that you have lost. It seems like my family has had it's share of loss in the past few years, and we are all still trying to get through it all. I believe that family is the most important thing in life. I am so blessed with the family and friends I have. I hope that everyone has a great holiday season.

A few nights ago, the moon was outrageously huge! I tried to snap some photos really quick before the view changed... there were some streaks left by a plane, and the moon was shining from behind it. I don't have the right exposure for some of these, but they are still pretty cool!

random facts about me:

1. I never get tired of watching Blue Crush… for some reason… I think I want to live that life… or at least live there in Hawaii.

2. I hate to do dishes… I could go my whole life not doing one more dish. I even hate loading the dishwasher.

3. I hate my toes… that is the one thing I hate so much… my second toe is like it’s own little finger… I think it probably was supposed to be one of my fingers and somehow landed on my feet.

4. I love Target and Old Navy. I could spend thousands of dollars at these stores. I’ll accept any type of giftcard incase you are wondering! J

5. I’m scared of the water… especially the lake or ocean. I love to be there on the beach and looking at it, but when I get in… I get very nervous. I don’t know if it’s more about an animal grazing my leg or the idea of getting pulled under and drowning.

6. I love all sports. I love to play them and watch them. I like to play soccer and softball most and watch football.

7. I love to eat pancakes… especially with peanut butter on top! That is one of my really bad habits! When I was pregnant, I was on a pancake-eating-diet… like one a day! Yes that was probably a huge factor of me gaining 40 lbs I’m sure!

Wow! What a week. It has been crazy here in Oklahoma. We have had power outages since Saturday. This town has gone crazy!! Just wanted to say hello to everyone...
